Férias na Amazonia - Amazon Holidays
Depois de mais uma semana de férias, volto com bastantes coisas para contar. Nomeadamente a minha recente viagem à Amazónia Colombiana, mais precisamente à cidade de Leticia, ao Parque Nacional Amacayacu e a Tabatinga (Brasil), numa extensao de 4 dias...
Estive a percorrer o famoso e enorme rio Amazonas na parte colombiana, de forma a visitar comunidades indígenas, a caminhar na selva (4 horas), nadar nos afluentes do amazonas, conhecer a vida animal, fazer canoagem no meio da noite por entre a selva e os diversos canais, ver um dos melhores pores do sol de sempre, enfim um monte de coisas muito interessantes que me deixaram com muita vontade de regressar...
Estando agora a pasar o periodo de chuvas em quase toda a parte equatorial, a parte amazonica fica completamente alagada, sendo que o rio tem +/- 4 kilometros de largo nesta parte, o que é realmente gigante. Uma coisa que senti ao navegar no rio com mais caudal de agua do mundo e o segundo mais extenso, foi o quao pequenos realmente somos e conjugado com a natureza selvagem e animalesca da selva, uma pessoa fica tao debil e desprotegida que é realmente impressionante...
Foram 4 dias extremamente interessantes que me levaram a conhecer a Amazónia, e a ter a possibilidade de ir pela primeira vez ao Brasil sem necessitar passaporte e ainda por cima entrar a pé :), ja que as "cidades" de Leticia e Tabatinga sao pegadas e nao existe fronteira entre as duas. Foi divertido voltar a falar Português agora com acento colonial :)...

After another week of holidays, i came back with quite a lot stuff to tell. My recent travel trip was in Colombian Amazons, Leticia, Amacayacu National Park and Tabatinga (Brazil), on a tour that took me 4 days.
I was riding the Amazon river on the Colombian part, where i visited some aboriginal communities, walk in the jungle (4 hours), swim on one of the smaller rivers that go into the Amazon River, get to know the wild life, do kayak in the middle of the night and inside the jungle and some channels, be able to see one of the best sun dusk in the world, well a lot of things that gave me great will to get back...
As it is the rainy season on the equator, the amazon jungle is quite flooded, so the river as around 3/4 Km wide on the part that i was, what its huge i can tell. As i was riding the river with the most volume of water in the world and the second biggest, i felt so small, cause if you add the huge jungle and its wild nature i really felt unprotected, but amazed :)...
I passed 4 amazing days in the Amazon, i had the chance to go to Brazil for the first time without any passport or police control and get into it, on foot :)... As the cities of Leticia and Tabatinga are almost as one, and there is no border between them... It was really fun to talk Colonial Portugues there :)....
